All staff who enter; act as a standby or who work near Confined Spaces. This training includes Breathing Apparatus Training.
Course participants will learn:
This course will cover theoretical and practical elements of Confined Space Rescue. It provides the skills and knowledge for those who may be required to undertake a rescue in a confined space, where hazardous atmospheres may be present. This course is designed to give participants an understanding of legislative and administrative requirements, entry and rescue equipment and atmospheric monitoring requirements.

Nationally Accredited Training Modules
Participate in a rescue operation (PUASAR001B)
Operate breathing apparatus open circuit (PUAFIR207B)
Work in a team (PUATEA001B)
Prevent injury (PUAFIR201B)
Monitor hazardous atmospheres (PUAFIR307B)

Course Duration
2 days for participants with Breathing Apparatus training
3 days for participants with no Breathing Apparatus training
