- Management of the unconscious patient
- Assessment of the sick or injured person
- Record keeping, referral mechanisms and correct patient monitoring techniques
- Wounds, soft tissue injuries and fractures
- Spinal injuries and shock
- Burns, electric shock and eye injuries
- Venomous bites and stings
- Assisting in childbirth
- Methods of moving sick and injured patients
- First-aid boxes at the workplace
- Personal hygiene techniques
